Tom was contracted as a consultant content editor at Camden Council for two years - providing expertise in editorial and specialising in accessibility and usability. In particular he took responsibility in making sure the site adhered to stringent validation guidelines in order to meet AA standards.

This resulted in the site achieving a top fifteen position in the annual SOCITM audit of local government websites for two years running.

Tom also provided CSS and graphic design services to parts of the business and was responsible for the relaunch of the housing and youth sections of the site. He also scoped and specified a ground-breaking section of the site dedicated to people with learning difficulties.
